St. Mary’s Knights of Columbus schedules blood drive

The St. Mary’s Knights of Columbus is holding a blood drive on Saturday and Sunday, December 14-15, at the St. Mary’s Holy Family Center, 304 W. San Antonio Street in Fredericksburg.  The drive will run from 3-6:45 p.m. December 14 and 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.Sunday, December 15.

The Red Cross says that blood donations are especially needed during the holidays because of reduced donations due to holiday celebrations, increases in illnesses and poor weather.  Most individuals can donate blood if they are in good health, between the ages of 17 and 75, or obtain permission from their doctor.
