AT&T will be presenting a $10,000 check on Friday, November 17, to the Texas Center at Schreiner University at 10 a.m. in front of the Texas Center building on campus. The money is a grant which will help fund equipment to the Texas Center and intended to support digital initiatives. This particular grant is part of the AT&T’s nationwide Connected Learning initiative to help bridge the digital divide through internet accessibility, affordability, and safe adoption.
“The AT&T Foundation is proud to collaborate with organizations like Schreiner University and The Texas Center to help close the digital equity gap for students in Kerrville,” said Leslie Ward, President, AT&T Texas. Ward also mentioned that those skills are vital in helping bridge the digital divide.
