Kerr County Animal Services has confirmed that on May 29, a 13th positive case of rabies had been posted.  KCAS received a call about a dead skunk at a family residence on Bobwhite Drive in Kerrville.  An animal control officer was dispatched to the scene and sent a specimen to the zoological lab for testing on Thursday, May 23. Kerrville moving to Stage 3 Water Conservation Measures

City of Kerrville reduces its Safe Operating Capacity

The City of Kerrville has said it is reducing its safe operating capacity from 6 million gallons per day to 4.5 MGD due to the continuing decline of the Guadalupe River flow in Kerr County and the hot summer months still ahead.  In doing this, the results equate to a self-curtailment of 1.5 MGD.
