Kerr County offices announce upcoming holiday closures

Most Kerr County offices will be closed for two days next week so that county employees can join their family and friends in celebrating Christmas.  Closed Tuesday and Wednesday, December 24-25, will be the Kerr County Courthouse, 700 Main Street in Kerrville, the West Kerr County Courthouse Annex, 510 College Street in Ingram, the county’s 550 Earl Garrett Street campus in Kerrville and others.

Business hours will resume as normally scheduled on Thursday, Dec. 26.  For operating hours of a specific department, refer to its individual webpage found in the “Departments” listing of the county website:  www.kerrcountytx.gov.

The regular session of the Kerr County Commissioners’ Court scheduled for 9 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, will continue as planned.

The following week, county offices will be open on New Year’s Eve on Tuesday, Dec. 31, but will be closed for one day – New Year’s Day – on Wednesday, January 1.

Emergency services, including law enforcement, fire departments and EMS, will continue without interruption.
