The Kerrville Police Department has confirmed that they will be ramping up traffic enforcement thanks to a grant funded through the Texas Department of Transportation Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP).  Additional officers will be working traffic enforcement on an overtime basis beginning December 16, 2024 through January 1, 2025. The Kerr County Sheriff's Office Special Operations Division conducted an undercover operation in the 700 block of Guadalupe Street in Kerrville on December 5.  An investigator acting in an undercover capacity as a minor female was contacted by a male subject identified as Jeremiah William McLaughlin, according to authorities.
