In response to the devastating July 4th flood, the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country has launched the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund to support local response, relief, and recovery efforts.  All donations go directly to organizations working on the front lines of this emergency. Kerrville Public Utility Board (KPUB) is actively responding to widespread power outages affecting approximately 2,646 customers throughout its service territory, as of 9:30 a.m.  Impacted areas include Southeast Kerrville, Center Point and Hunt. Kerr County is currently in a local state of disaster, due to extreme, life-threatening flooding that occurred overnight from heavy rains that fell Thursday, July 3, and overnight into Friday, July 4. The City of Fredericksburg has canceled the 2025 Fourth of July Parade scheduled for Friday, July 4, at 10 a.m., due to inclement weather.  The Main Street parade will not be rescheduled.
