Kerr County sheriff deputies arrested one individual following a high speed motorcycle chase which began in Gillespie County on Sunday, May 5.  A Gillespie County deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop after observing the motorcycle at a speed of 93 MPH.  The driver failed to yield to the stop and continued south on Highway 16 toward Kerr County. The Kerr County May 4, election results are in, with 4,551 of 16,954 (26.84%) registered voters casting their ballots. Joe Herring, Jr., has been elected as Kerrville's new mayor with 2,692 (59.43%) of the votes.  Roman Garcia received 1,838 (40.57%). H-E-B issued a voluntary recall Saturday for certain flavors of three-ounce ice cream cups for possible metal.  The affected products are 12-count packages of 3-ounce cups of Creamy Creations Ice Cream in chocolate, lime/orange sherbet and vanilla/chocolate combo flavors, according to the recall notice.
