A man was arrested on multiple charges following a string of vehicle thefts, the Kerr County Sheriff's Office said.  Marcus Taylor, 34, was arrested on charges related to theft, burglary, evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance, according to the KCSO. The Texas Workforce Commission has extended the deadline for Disaster Unemployment Assistance applications after receiving federal approval, according to a news release.  Those seeking unemployment assistance will now have until Sept. 29 to submit applications. A star has been named after a camper still missing from Camp Mystic after the catastrophic Kerr County floods.  The star, named "Cile Steward," can be seen on a clear night without binoculars, according to The Uvalde Foundation for Kids, who has partnered with the National Star Registry. Two winners of the nearly $1.8 billion Powerball prize were picked on Saturday, with one of the tickets sold in Fredericksburg.  Big's convenience store, located off Highway 290 and Jenschke Lane, was where a winning ticket was sold.  It marks one of the largest lottery prizes sold in Texas history.  The other winning ticket was purchased in Missouri.
