TXDOT reports an uptick in stolen Gillespie County signs

TXDOT officials are reporting a recent uptick in stolen street signs in Gillespie County, and the most popular sign to be stolen is anything with Luckenbach on it. Authorities believe signs directing traffic to historic Luckenbach Town Loop are stolen so that they can be hung as decoration in homes. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has started selling its annual hunting and fishing licenses, and reminds hunters and anglers that 2023 licenses expire at the end of August.
