KCSO arrests two for Drug Bust

The Kerr County Sheriff's Department, along with the Kendall County Central Texas Criminal Interdiction Unit, arrested two individuals for possession of methamphetamine on September 20.  Law enforcement conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Lower Turtle Creek Road in Kerrville, at which time deputies detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, according to a press release.  Subsequently, a narcotics K9 indicated a positive alert to narcotics […]

City of Kerrville updates road closures schedule

The City of Kerrville and contractor Bennett Paving Inc. have begun repairing asphalt roads at multiple locations throughout the city.  The improvements to the streets include asphalt mill, overlay, and crack seal repairs.  The contractor will be handing out notices 48 hours in advance of all scheduled construction on the affected streets.  Each road should begin and finish over the course of a day, and the actual construction is set […]
