The City of Fredericksburg closed a portion of South Adams Street (1117 S. Adams St.) near the Fredericksburg Primary School to repair a damaged electric power pole. The closure will remain in effect until repairs are complete.  Non-emergency vehicle access to Fredericksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation will be restricted.  For those needing to access the facility, enter Friendship Lane.

One person was killed after a plane crashed on Tuesday near Fredericksburg.  According to a social media post by Fredericksburg Fire EMS, at approximately 4 p.m. they were dispatched to the area of Keese Sagebiel Road for a reported aircraft crash.
