Gillespie County horse racing set for Saturday

FPD seeking public’s help with recent auto dealership thefts

The Fredericksburg Police Department responded to the Fredericksburg Chevrolet GMC dealership, located at 1225 S State Highway 16, in regards to a theft report.  Authorities state that sometime between 9:10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, and 6:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, an individual or group entered the property and stole tires and rims from multiple vehicles. Hill Country “Back to School” updates

The Fredericksburg Independent School District Board of Trustees met this week and approved several agenda items, including the purchase of virtual teacher services as a back-up to fill vacant positions and the purchase of additional security cameras. City Hills Church offering free gas on Saturday

City Hills Church in Boerne will be offering free gas to the community Saturday, July 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Exxon near Longhorn Cafe, at the corner of Jeff Road and Highway 46.  The offer is part of the church's "Serve Day" initiative which the church does every July. A process is currently underway to update the Kerrville 2050 Comprehensive Plan, which includes a Downtown Plan and a Nimitz Area Plan.  The City of Kerrville is seeking input from citizens via an online survey in regards to the visions and goals of Kerrville 2050.
