Kerrville’s 2024 street maintenance project underway

The City of Kerrville and its contractor, Bennett Paving, commenced work on the 2024 Street maintenance project beginning October 7.  The project will include sealing of cracks in affected roadways/streets along with a mill and overlay of asphalt on selected sections of identified streets. The Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library welcomes Richard McAlister, meteorologist and multimedia journalist, on Saturday, October 12 at 2 p.m. in the library's meeting room. The City of Kerrville municipal offices, the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library, and the City secretary's office will be closed Monday, October 14, in observance of the Columbus Day holiday.  Anyone needing assistance can email City Secretary Shelley McElhannon at Shelley.mcelhannon@kerrvilletx.gov. Temporary street closures scheduled Thursday for Tivy homecoming parade

County offices closed on Columbus Day, Oct. 14

Most local county governmental offices will be closed on Monday, October 14, for the Columbus Day holiday.  Closing that day will be the Kerr County Courthouse, 700 Main Street in Kerrville, and the West Kerr County Courthouse Annex, 510 College Street in Ingram. Emergency services, including law enforcement agencies, fire departments and EMS will continue without interruption.
