Portion of Lois Street in Kerrville to be temporarily closed

The City of Kerrville and its contractor, M. C. Fonseca, are scheduled to continue working on the Knapp Road sewer project.  Beginning November 4, the contractor will be replacing sewer lines on Lois Street between Woodlawn Avenue and Harper Highway for approximately six weeks, which will require portions of Lois Street to be closed to through traffic. 3 fatalities overnight following Kendall County crash

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that three people are dead following a multi-vehicle crash which occurred in the 500 block of State Highway 46 West shortly before 11 p.m. on Tuesday.  The KCSO statement said a Ford F-250 was traveling west when it collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla in the eastbound lane. Vogel appointed to fill remainder of McAnally’s term in Gillespie County

Gillespie County Commissioners on Monday appointed Jamey Vogel to fill the unexpired term of the late Steve McAnally on the Gillespie County Economic Development Commission.  Commissioners' also approved a contract to house Kendall County inmates at the Gillespie County Jail, making it the first county to agree to the recently-adjusted rates of $65 per day.
