The Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library invites all Summer Reading participants to its Summer Reading award party on Thursday, July 31 from 1:30-3:30 p.m.  Participants will be able to partake in an afternoon of recognition, fun and pizza. The City of Fredericksburg has announced an upcoming road closure.  West Live Oak between Kerr and Post Oak roads will be closed Friday, August 1 as part of the utility extension project. The Red Cross has closed its Family Assistance Center in Kerrville.  The center was primarily for those with injured, missing, or loved ones who died.
