~The Food and Drug Administration announced a recall for one lot of Vitruvias Therapeutics Inc.'s thyroid tablets as they are "superpotent" and can cause hyperthyroidism.  In a recall notice Monday, the company said its thyroid tablets, USP 30 mg with the lot number 504950, were potentially superpotent.  Those at greater risk are the elderly, pregnant women and infants, especially if consumed over extended periods of time. Gillespie County has announced it is launching a new Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program following historic summer flooding to help with local disaster response and recovery. The Kerr County Clerk's Office is moving back to the Kerr County Courthouse next week.  On Monday, Aug. 31, the County Clerk's Office will close early at its temporary location at the Hill Country Youth Event Center. A burn ban is now in effect in Bandera County as dry conditions increase the risk of fires spreading quickly.  Residents are being asked to avoid burning whenever possible and to use a disposal site instead of burning household trash. According to the Llano County Sheriff's Office, a woman was found dead along a trail at Enchanted Rock State Natural Area Thursday.  Park staff were notified of a possible deceased person around 3 p.m. Thursday, August 27, and authorities say an investigation is underway.
