Numerous offices closed Friday for Veterans Day

The City of Kerrville municipal offices and the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library will be closed Friday, November 10, in observance of the 2023 Veterans Day holiday.  Municipal offices will resume regular business hours on Monday, November 13, and the library will resume regular business hours on Saturday, November 11. Election Day results

Texans voted to approve to approve Proposition 4 which will increase the homestead tax exemption and provide property tax relief, according to Associated Press projections.  With 40% of the vote reported, 84% voted in favor of the proposition.  The changes will apply to the 2023 tax bills due in January.  Prop. 4 was the most talked about state proposition on the November 7 ballot. Water Street/Clay Street intersection to become three-way stop

The intersection at Water Street and Clay Street will become a three-way stop beginning Monday, November 6.  According to city officials, the change is intended to improve pedestrian and vehicular safety at the site, and signs are already in place.
