Kerrville-Schreiner Park is hosting the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's (TPWD) wildlife management bow hunt from December 7-22.  For safety reasons, the Hillside area of KSP will be closed to all traffic and park visitors during this time. Once again, the Guadalupe River in Louise Hays Park, located at 202 Thompson Drive, will be stocked with rainbow trout.  The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) will conduct two stockings of rainbow trout, with the first release scheduled for Tuesday, December 17, followed by a second stocking on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.  Each stocking will include 1,200 rainbow trout. The City of Kerrville Municipal Offices and the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 28-29, 2024 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.  Municipal offices and the library will resume regular business hours at 8 a.m. on Monday, December 2.
