On Tuesday, April 22, the Kerr County Sheriff's Office Special Operations Division, Criminal Interdiction Unit, conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 10 near Mile Marker 501.  Upon making contact with the driver, a strong odor of marijuana was detected coming from inside the vehicle, according to a release.  The driver, Jason James Borchers, 22, of Corpus Christi, was advised of a probable cause search of the vehicle.  Also in the […]

The Fredericksburg Police Department, in collaboration with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and Methodist Hospital/Hill Country, will host a prescription drug take-back day on Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gillespie County Law Enforcement Center, 1601 E.
