Due to inclement weather and winter road conditions, Gillespie County governmental offices will remain closed on Friday, February 4. Peterson Regional Medical Center has announced that some of their medical facilities will be closed Friday, February 4, due to inclement weather and icy conditions. Those PRMC facilities closed Friday include: Peterson Regional Medical Associates - Cailloux Professional Bldg./Kerrville Medical Plaza; Peterson Urgent Care; Peterson Community Care; Outpatient Radiology/Imaging; Rehabilitation; Laboratory and Wound Care at the Ambulatory Care Center. The City of Kerrville's Police, Fire and Public Works departments continue to warn citizens that area travel conditions will remain extremely hazardous through at least Friday morning as sub-freezing temperatures negatively impact local bridges, roads, driveways and sidewalks. The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) says it is confident there is enough reserve power on hand to get Texans through the current ice storm.
